The EU70 pool heat pump can operate within an ambient temperature range of 30°F to 100°F, with optimal conditions heating the water to 105°F, making it an ideal choice for extending the swimming pool season for months. Based on heat pump technology, the EU70 absorbs energy from air molecules and transfers it into the water, requiring very limited electric input for high efficiency and a heat conversion rate of COP 4.7 - meaning 4.7 times more heat is generated for every cent of electricity spent.
Suitable for above-ground and in-ground pools up to 6,500 gallons, the EU70 has a max output of 22,462 BTU/hr. It is equipped with a water flow sensor that can automatically control the heater's working time through the water pump's timing settings. The intelligent control IC automatically maintains the pool at the desired temperature, so once the system starts running, no further adjustments are needed - just enjoy a warm and comfortable swimming experience.
For colder regions, it is recommended to choose a size larger model, such as the EU100 with a max output of 38,864 BTU/hr, suitable for pools up to 10,000 gallons. All ECO POOLTECH heaters feature titanium heat exchangers compatible with both saltwater and freshwater pools. Using a solar cover is also strongly advised to prevent heat loss and facilitate faster heating to the desired temperature.
